Definition of Root State
Root State names a temporary condition of clearer observation, not a permanent rank and not a mystical achievement.

Problem
Without a shared definition, Root State becomes a status symbol. People then perform certainty instead of reporting what they can actually see.
Proposal
Define Root State as a revisable working condition: attention is available, a pattern can be named, and the person can tell fact from story well enough to choose a next step. It ends. It can be checked. It grants no authority over anyone else.
Rationale
A small definition keeps the practice testable. If the state cannot be described in ordinary language, it cannot be taught without a guru.
Risks
- The phrase can still be used as a badge.
- A checklist can become a performance.
Alternatives
- Leave the term undefined.
- Reserve it for a certified inner rank.
