These principles are the floor. A practice, a community, or a rewrite that breaks them is no longer this protocol, even if it keeps the name.
Open by default
The text, the rules, and the record of changes stay public. Registration is for doing something, not for reading.
No gurus
Roles exist for maintenance. They do not create a sacred person. Disagreement is not disloyalty.
Reality over belief
Separate what happened from the story about what happened. Mark a hypothesis as a hypothesis.
No hidden knowledge
If a method matters, it can be written in ordinary language. Secret levels are a way to hold people, not a way to teach them.
No coercion
No shame mechanics, no pressure to stay, no punishment for leaving. A fork is allowed.
