ROOT Protocol is a public text for people who want to see their own patterns more clearly and change the ones that can be changed.
What it is
It is not a church, a personality cult, or a hidden teaching. The useful parts are written down. You can disagree with a page without leaving the conversation. You can also leave, copy the text, and continue somewhere else. That exit is part of the design.
How to read
Start with the principles if you want the commitments. Start with Root State if you want the practice language. Do not treat a later, more poetic page as permission to ignore an earlier limit. The ethics and governance pages are limits, not decorations.
What it asks
The protocol asks for a test, not a belief. Try one observation. Write down what happened. Review it. If nothing repeatable shows up, say so.
